Download Sunshine Graphic Organizer
and make copies for the students.
Draw a large Sunshine Graphic Organizer on the chalkboard and write the word “Hope” in the center of the sun.
Together map the word “Hope” by writing hope related words in the rays and examples of hope in the spaces between the rays.
Tips
Make sure to write the word “action” on the organizer because actions help us realize our hopes.
On the back of the paper have students write some hopes they have for helping people when they are adults.
